Dit is mijn eerste afropuff, gemaakt met een PHHB.
Dit is hoe het eruit zag, toen ik echter een uur later op de plaats van bestemming aankwam, zat hij verder naar achteren.
Ik kreeg hem niet meer goed, dus heb hem zo gelaten. Wel leuk… het viel mijn moeder op dat mijn puffs steeds verder naar achterkunnen. (Juiste woord?)

Vandaag heb ik twists met L&T,H van Royal Roots gemaakt. Review volgt. Ik ga er vandoor. De MuseumN8 in A’dam wacht op mij (en mijn vriendje wil weg )

Toedels (LOL)

Dit is een haarstreng, gekruld. Nee, ik heb hem niet uit mijn hoofd getrokken. Dit bleef op mijn kam achter na het detanglen. (Dat mini-bobbeltje is mijn wortel.)

Dit is dezelfde haarstreng maar dan opgerekt. Mijn vingers zitten in de weg en de camera-afstand was anders, maar als je naar de cm op het lineaaltje kijkt, krijgt hier vast wel een idee van.

Toen ik deze plaatjes voor het eerst zacht, had ik even het gevoel in de spiegel te kijken. Best wel grappig. Allen is mijn haar niet very tight-colied, zoals zij het beschrijft.

Anyway.. de rest klopt wel, incl. het natte uiterlijk, en de waves bij een CO-wash.

Het is een beetje vroeg voor een tussenbeoordeling, aangezien ik hem vervroegd had bij mijn vorige post. Dus in plaats van een tussenbeoordeling volgt hier een planning voor de maand November.

Shampoo’s

Black Earth Shampoo (Taliah Waajid)
Een heerlijke shampoo speciaal ontwikkeld voor de verzorging van droog kroeshaar door Taliah Waajid: meer info Link 1 en Link 2.
In de shampoo zit wel SLS echter dit is de 7e bestandsdeel. Na twee keer gebruik ben ik helemaal verliefd op deze shampoo. Ik heb echt het gevoel dat de zoektocht naar een heerlijke shampoo over is. Mijn haar voelt heerlijk zacht en goed verzorgd aan wanneer ik het gewassen heb.

Belofte’s van de shampoo zijn:

- penetrates hair to soften
- eliminates dry hair

Ingredienten

Conditioner

SUAVE – aloe vera
Ik heb deze conditioner vandaag besteld. Hopelijk is hij snel op voorraad. Ik heb met opzet niet de cocos-versie gekozen, omdat ik bang ben dat de geur me te sterk zal zijn.

Belofte van SUAVE:
Combines the light, fresh fragrance of aloe vera in a formula with honeysuckle, moisturizing Vitamin E and gentle conditioners to nourish and restore the natural beauty of all hair types.

Ingredienten

Lush Coolaulin onder voorbehoud
Heb dit altijd wel een lekkere conditioner gevonden voor een CO-wash. Er zit echter wel SLS in, als 4e bestanddeel.

De belofte
Kokosconditioner die je haar zacht maakt en verrukkelijk laat ruiken. Geschikt voor droog krullend haar.

Ingredienten

Detangler, softener, remover van Royal Roots
Nadat ik mijn haar met Black Earth Shampoo heb gewassen, lijkt het veel doller te zijn op de Detangler van Royal Roots. Ik kon mijn haar veel beter ontklitten, en mijn haar voelde de hele dag heerlijk zacht aan. Wat ook erg handig is dat dit product als leave-in conditioner kan worden gebruikt. Dus eigenlijk hoef ik geen aparte conditioner te gebruiken.

Herbal Moisture Glaze Conditioning Spray
Heb ik besteld. Ik ben erg benieuwd.

De belofte
Adds shine and moisture to braids, locks, twists and natural styles. Works great on extension styles. Moisture Glaze’s protective ingredients coat hair and helps prevent breakage. Use Moisture Glaze daily to penetrate through extension styles to provide your natural hair with the nutrients and conditioning needed while wearing long term braided, twisted or weaved styles. Lock, Twist & Hold
Naar aanleiding van eerder gelezen reviews heb ik besloten om dit product ook zelf uit te proberen. En heb ook dit potje vandaag besteld.

De belofte

Ouchless Borstel
Wat een heerlijke borstel. Wanneer je er mee borstelt lijkt het er op dat je niet borstelt.. je blijft nergens aan hangen. Heerlijk gewoon. Maar wanneer je klaar bent, merk je gewoon dat je handen veel makkelijker door je haar gaan.

Jumbo-kam
Ik wil bijna geen andere kam meer. Ik gebruik het alleen op nat haar. Een zeer goeie detangler.

Gisteravond was mijn haar nog steeds overdreven vettig van de sheabutter. Het begon zelfs te jeuken, en dus besloot ik mijn haar weer te wassen met Black Earth Total Body Shampoo. Ook vanmorgen beviel het me uitstekend. Naast de wasbak (ik had geen zin om het onder de douche te wassen) had ik mijn nieuw conditioner van DA al klaar staan, toen het opeens tot mij doordrong. Op de fles van Black Earth Shampoo staat dat het je haar conditioneert en schoonmaakt. Vandaar dat mijn haar lekker zacht bleef. En mijn Royal Roots detangler is een leave-in conditioner. Dus wat wil je dan nog meer? Ik liet de fles van DA staan, en smeerde Royal Roots in mijn haar. Dit keer bij het detanglen met mijn douchekam, kwam er 3/4 minder haar af dan aan het begin van de week. En ook in het putje was geen haartje te bekennen Enne, de Detangler maakte mijn haar direct zacht dit keer….. (de Palmolive Conditioner ligt in de prullenbak )

De DA conditioner zal ik uitproberen voor CO-wash, en ik heb inmiddels ook weer een fles SUAVE besteld, met hetzelfde doel. Helaas is Milk & Honey even niet op voorraad. Dus dan maar die andere (hopelijk) lekkere geur: Aloe Vera.
Binnenkort hoop ik ook meer te kunnen vertellen over de volgende producten van Royal Roots:
- Herbal Moisture Glaze Conditioning Spray
- Lock, Twist & Hold

Ik kom steeds dichterbij mijn HolyGrail producten. Heerlijk gewoon ! Als deze producten nu allemaal bevallen, dan ben ik er…. Spannend!!!!

Mijn favoriete geur van Suave komt helaas pas in januari weer in voorraad. Dus tot die tijd, kijk ik nog ff verder…of mijn No-cones challenge lukt.
